What a lovely surprise to find this great Parthenon right in the city - a walk around the lake is a must-do as well. So glad I found this on Tripadvisor or we'd not have ever seen it. Thank you Nashville!

We stopped here after seeing it on this site. The park is huge, we went to see the parthenon and wander the park. The structure is amazing to say the least. There is a museum in the base of it, which we did not go...More

Amazing reproduction with tremendous detail. Have seen the original in Athens and this gives more understanding of the overall structure. Huge statue of Athena in gold and history of the Centennial Exposition. Situated in a very nice park.

Take a drive to Centennial Park and have a nice stroll. This is a beautiful park and the architecture is wonderful. A little piece of Greece right in Nashville.

Gorgeous park in Nashville. Go here to check out the Paratheon, Women's Rights statue, a great pond and nice trails. Nicely landscaped and very peaceful spot.

We went for the day and had a great time. Pack a lunch and plan on spending the day on site. Good place for your kids studying ancient history; plenty of room in the park to picnic; throw frisbees and generally relax. My only complaint...More

My friends and I were visiting Nashville for a four-day weekend, and Centennial Park (especially the Parthenon and Athena statue) were a real high point. We lucked into a private tour with an employee and thoroughly enjoyed seeing those sites. The discussion was informative, well...More

The park is right along the water and a beautiful, peaceful place. History and monuments all around but not so much that it distracts for the park setting or the Parthenon.
