We had a fabulous day at Wendy Jagger Studio, doing ‘Wheel in a Day’.
It was loads of fun for total novices like us. Wendy explain and demonstrated the techniques. She was very hands on. We came away with 5 pieces of works which is very exciting.
Lunch was also provided and was absolutely delicious.
I would recommend this to anyone who has ever thought about doing pottery but never quite got there. You won’t regret it. It was fabulous.

Wendy Jagger is Mansfield's absolute treasure. Pottery, painting, creative arts of almost any kind, Wendy is the go-to person. All her works (well most of them) are for sale.
A few years ago I was a pottery student of Wendy and her ability to pass knowledge on, making you relaxed and able to absorb all, was second to none. Mansfield is lucky to have her in the community.

What a lovely day spent with Wendy and some like minded ladies learning some key techniques of painting with gouache. Wendy was engaging and supportive, the scenery beautiful and time for myself to explore something new and creative...priceless! Completed the day admiring the Delatite Winery architecture, views and lunch.
Thank you Wendy

Wheel for a Day was sensational. We had so much fun and I could not believe how quickly we progressed with the warm, enthusiastic and very patient Wendy instructing and encouraging us the whole day. With a friend and small group of friendly, eager ladies we completed 5-6 pieces. The Lunch spread was delicious and over a glass of wine we were able to discuss our achievements for the morning and gaze over the glorious views of the Great Dividing Ranges. I found the hands-on nature of moulding clay was so relaxing for both the body and mind. Very therapeutic and rewarding and would highly recommend anyone to give it a try!

What a fantastic experience we had doing Wheel in a Day recently. At every point in our journey there was something to learn and understand about clay and decoration. Wendy ensured that each of us (6) had a successful productive time. By the end of the day we had each produced several pieces of pottery to be proud of.
By the way, the lunch provided was scrumptious!

I was part of a ceramic workshop with Wendy and it was fabulous. Wendy is a patient teacher and I made 5 pieces which I am very excited about. Such a great day with beautiful views of Mt Buller, lovely lunch provided by a local cafe. Will be booking again.

Everyone has some creativity in them and you created some lovely pieces. So glad that you also tapped into the energy of the studio and got more than making out of the day.

I was so excited to finally do the workshop after the COVID lockdown cancellations. Wendy is a generous, humorous and very patient tutor. The location was beautiful and a perfect backdrop to try my hand at landscape painting.
Highly recommend this workshop!
