You could have a picnic here (there's electric bbq's, picnic tables, toilets, playgrounds etc.) but the best thing to do here is have a half hour walk around the lake. There's lots of birds to watch, and native flora to admire.

Today we saw a baked potato van and an icecream van. Children were in the playground, radio controlled yachts were racing, and many people were walking, running, cycling, and dog walking around the 2.5km lake circuit. I was amazed at how many bird species were...More

I enjoy going there for Fish and Chips with Aaron and Cherie. Also I enjoy feeding the magpies and playing on the swings.

Brought a picnic lunch here on the school holidays which we ate at one of the many park benches around the walking paths. We then had a nice stroll around the lake, stopping a few times to look at bridges and other features. A nice...More

If you haven't checked this park out before, you're in for a treat. Hidden in amongst suburban developments, the lake itself is beautiful, with lots of water birds. There is a very accessible path around the lake edge (2.5 km), and side paths through wetlands....More

Lots to do here. Even a 1km mountain bike trail through the trees. Kids will love the playground with water park. The walk around the lake is very flat and easy. Lots of wildlife.

great walks, plenty of space, good adventure park for the kids, including a good water feature. Benn many times and it is great for the family. Bring your own picnic food as no cafe there
