Great place to take visitors to Australia to see their first kangaroos, emus, platypus, wombats, koalas as well as several species of lovely birds.

Our trip to the Yarra Valley began with an unforgettable Aussie wildlife experience! We loved the openness of the sanctuary and the introduction to the native animals, flora and fauna. It was an eye opening experience for our little one who squealed in delight to...More

It's a nice place to visit but I felt there weren't that many types of animals featured at the sanctuary. By half an hour I was done touring the whole place and there weren't that many things to do or see there to pass the...More

Right spot to learn about the local birds and you can see so many colourful birds. I like that cockatoo called me ‘ hello mate’. Definitely you would go again

Such a lovely zoo, not overly crowded even on a Sunday. Great native Australian animals and enclosures. The birds of prey show was fantastic. Highly recommended!!

We enjoyed visiting Healesville Sanctuary as per normal, but this time we'd booked in for the platypus experience. After the show and seeing the platypus show we got to get into the pool with a platypus. Well worth doing.
