We were traveling to Sydney from the U.S. and really wanted our daughter (11 years old) to try surfing. She loves to swim, but is not very adventurous. We were not sure she would do it, but once we were there, she decided to give...More

Well organised and fun to try. Much more difficult than I thought. Everything needed was supplid by the school, so basically just need to show up and have fun.

Had my first ever lesson and rode 4 waves to the beach. Stoked . Instructors were great and really gave helpful feedback which made it work. Not just there to watch you lay about. They were calling people through in an orderly fashion, so even...More

My daughter and I had an amazing lesson with Kelly. He was so patient and kind and he really had a knack for finding waves perfect for each of us despite my true beginner status and my daughter’s advanced beginner/intermediate level of proficiency. His manner...More

I reckon this is the best surf school. All the instructors were so helpful and patient. Lovely location. Well patrolled by life guard's but take plenty of sun cream.

A 40-minute ferry ride from Circular Quay will take
you to the famous northern beach of Manly. The beaches
here are perfect for learning to surf or spending the
day sun-tanning. The walk from Spit Bridge to Manly is
a great way to experience Sydney Harbour Bay and the
Australian bush land. Along the foreshore, there are
plenty of watering holes and wine bars with excellent
cuisine. There are plenty of kid-friendly restaurants
