Built in 1901, this pub retains most of its refitting from c.1930, in Glasgow Art Nouveau style. The public bar has an impressive mirrored gantry with stained glass cupboard fronts and ten drawers, a long bar counter, and extensive panelling. The Golfers bar is a family friendly pub with a childs license up till 8pm. The Golfers often hosts live music on Friday and Saturday nights. The Golfers accepts pets and we offer bowls of water and treats too!

The welcome was delightful and all of my doggie's needs were anticipated with a big bowl of fresh water and a treat. Just an lovely place to sit and relax near the seafront of Rothesay.

Really enjoyed this wee place. Friendly staff, quick service despite it being busy and Tommy, the singing barman is a delight. Stop in for a pint.

This was a comfortable pub with a warm welcome on a very cold day. I tried a bottle from the local brewery and thought it an excellent brew. My first port of call if I'm able to visit the island again.
