I love this museum and every time I visit I always find something new. Yesterday it was the World War 1 display with all the soilders of Bute who died. And the youngsters treasure hunt for Dinosaurs. Great

Cracking local museum. Great for a visit with children. Staff are always welcoming. Lots of local history and curators are happy to engage in a chat about the exhibits.

We enjoyed our look around the museum, but we only spent 30 minutes before we were out again. The natural history section - stuffed birds and animals - was quite interesting.
