I was there for a wedding from the United States and it was simply beautiful. About a 10 minute ride from Rosethy Ferry but unless you're actually staying at the castle I don't believe there is anywhere closer.

Dogs are not allowed in the house, however there are certain trails you can go with your dog. You are given a map at the beginning.
