Overview

Otter Adventures is a 'slow adventure' tourism company based on the shores of beautiful Loch Sunart. Our principle aim is to help you explore and understand this beautiful wilderness landscape through human powered journeys on land or on the water. All our trips are tailored to you and we can offer guiding in canoe, kayak, walking, scrambling and cycling (off road and on road). They can be a half or full day or I can create a bespoke multi day trip for you based upon our own ideas or one of your very own. Get in touch with us and let us know what your idea of 'adventure' is and we will come up with a unique journey to help you #EscapeToWildPlaces.

If we were to summarize the experience in just one word: SERENDIPITY ! We had a memorable afternoon with Otter Adventures. It was a totally spontaneous kayak trip planned in the morning, instead of a day trip to Isle of Skye and we don’t regret...More

I was just pleased to have a spare morning for you as it had been a very busy May! It was a memorable journey - for all the right reasons. A wonderful journey, great company and decent weather. Just a shame there wasn't more wildlife...More

It was still a great trip - despite the weather at the start! Seeing familiar landscapes from a different perspective (on the water) does bring a new outlook. While I do my best to explain the local landscapes, history, culture, wildlife, etc. I am always...More

It does pay to book early (and you did!) - especially as I am getting much busier this year and the Family Canoe Adventure days (such as you had) are becoming more popular. Both you and your sons did an excellent job - a very...More

You all did a great job sea kayaking on Loch Sunart - pity about the lack of wildlife though! There are indeed lots of plans for longer trips; but everything I do is tailored to the group / family so it matches their abilities and...More

Thank you for the review and for linking Otterburn B&B and Otter Adventures together. We live at Otterburn and l use that as the base for Otter Adventures. With Loch Sunart right outside our front window, it made perfect sense to base both businesses there.
