Unlike other reviews we found the footprints quite quickly but this did not ruin our trip. The views around the beach are stunning and the geology where the footprints are located is very interesting. The footprints themselves are a great reminder of what used to...More

While we did not find them, it was a lot of fun trying. We had to try to shush the sheep and the cows away. It didn't matter. It was a perfect day and a lovely walk in a beautiful area. I will not give...More

Delightful spot and great for a picnic. Great views out to nearby islands and up/down the coast of Skye. Didn't see any dinosaurs - or their footprints.

I was on a tour when we came here to look for the prints, but I looked out at the slippery sea moss and it would have been an accident for an older person on slippery rocks so I decided NOT to look for the...More

The Dinosaur museum, the little house, is indeed small. But the artefacts are interesting and the footprint stone that's there. For me, once seen is fine.

We stayed close by and did not even know that the dinosaur footprints are there - only after we saw the information plaque we started to search for them. Took quite some time but it was fun and quite rewarding once we found them.

Michelle, your question is a little difficult to understand. The footprints may be covered with sand or seaweed or the tide. The time of day has nothing to do with being able to see them unless you are thinking of the... More

There is a small car park off the main road down a single track road to the beach. Take warm clothing and a good pair of boots as it is very cold at this time of year. The prints are on the beach at Staffin, they can be... More
