It was lovely walk down to the beach on a bitterly cold day, but the view was worth every minute of it, breathtaking, looking across the to the mainland and watching snow showers.

We rented a cottage nearby and enjoyed the meandering rocky walk along the farm track that led to the beach. The beach was very quiet and contemplative, with few visitors. It was a lovely spot for a picnic.

Good short walk, pretty and fun to collect sea glass. Wear comfy shoes that can get wet, it's a bit damp.

Point of Sleat is the southern most point on Skye. It is a 5 mile walk round trip from Aird of Sleat where there is a small parking place. GPS NG588 007. OS Landranger map 32 (South Skye)

We were there in February and the weather was fine though cold. There is the risk of mosquitos, other than that I would say it should be good.
