Just next to Durness beach there's Sango beach that at some points can be reached via Durness beach at low tide. But because of the rock formation it gives a secluded feel from the campsite. A nice spot to mull the day over.

Beautiful beach with amazing rock formations. It is actually almost 3 beaches in one with each separated from the next by the tide when it is in. All are spotlessly clean.

Every beach gets better and better. The sands are so white. Its amazing to find in Scotland if the weather was always so nice this would be superb.

Although I went in March it was warm enough to have a picnic on the beach. The sound of the waves crashing on the beach was fab and my dog enjoyed racing up and down the beach

Stunning beach and great place to watch the surf break on all the rocks. Clean and had the place to ourselves (it is February though!)

You will be about the furthest north of Scotland here, but wither you will see the northern lights or not would be a guess.
