You cannot miss this beautiful building in the centre of the Town Square. Gives you view of how the judicial system is managed. Make this part of your visit to many of the other places in the Square.

If in Lynchburg then the building is worth a visit. Gives you an insight into the administration of justice. The visit will not take you long but other things to see as well.

Classic old building that sits in the middle of and is surrounded by a classic town square. Outside edge of the square is faced with old historic buildings housing stores and eateries.

This stately old building is now located in a square with tourist trap written all around it. This bldg. is part of the history of Moore county but times have changed and it hasn't moved. A historical shame!

This was a nice building, but nothing really special. They have a carving out front that was pretty cool, and a sign telling about the courthouse which was nice and updated.

We visited having been to the Jack Daniels distillery nearby, and what a quaint place this is. Due to the dry county laws, anyone caught not abiding is seen here. This courthouse is situated in the middle of the town square with everything built round...More

This gorgeous and historic building sits in the middle of the square and dominates all that it surveys. It is still a functioning Court House and as such still plays a very important role in the life of Lynchburg. It is closed on Thursdays, however,...More

Even though it was unfortunate that the Courthouse is closed on Thursdays, we still saw some great history posted outside on the sidewalk. Also, there was a fantastic chainsaw carver working outside. Can't wait to get back and take a look inside!

What can I say....its a courthouse. No frills and it is dated , as many courthouses are. It serves its purpose.
