Took the family here whilst we were on holiday in Dorset. Place is easy enough to get to and there is a council run car park right opposite the entrance which was handy. Gate price is a little steep at £6.50 for adults and children...More

Havent been for years - very impressed, not over done and refreshingly different as a small venue for children and adults alike. The model village is well maintained and the kids quiz paper to find various items around the minature town is fun and will...More

Lovely little model town, which has been lovingly restored. Interesting to see how modern technology (3D printing) is helping with the restoration project. There is no car park on site, but there is a short term car park across the road from the model town.

An excellent representation of how the town of Wimborne used to look. The attention to detail in the shop windows and the Minster is amazing. The Minster even has its own chimes. It has had a facelift in the 2 years since I've last visited....More

This needs to be visited in fine weather although there is a model railway display and a cafe (which serves excellent light lunches) that are under cover. This model village which is based on Wimborne in bygone times (not surprising as there used to be...More

Charming for both adults and children! Such an authentic model recreation of Wimborne town centre's streets that those familiar with Wimborne will almost forget these 3 foot tall buildings are not of the real streets - such is the correct "atmosphere"! Adults will appreciate the...More

Went for an hour with my young daughter. Poor Customer service, asked me to pay twice when I had already paid even once I showed the legitimate receipt! My girl got bored: many of the house windows had so much condensation we couldn't see inside...More

This is a static model village based on the town. Some people appear to be critical of this but it is what you see in it that is important. It is a charming step back in time of Wimborne of yester-year and you must take...More

We took our girls here when they were young. They wanted to go back ( they are now in their 20's!) to see what it is like now. It hasn't changed at all. They still remembered a lot of the buildings. Interesting but not fantastic.Small...More
