We drove from Bantry to Schull, which was a pretty village, through Goleen and along the beautiful scenic route to Mizen Head. It was freezing and blowing a gale at the Head. The Interpretive Centre was interesting as well as experiencing a lighthouse keeper’s accommodation,...More

We’d been here a few years before and indulged the great views and fresh air. This time we were thwarted by horizontal rain and high winds. The cafe was our sanctuary - exceeding expectations ! Padraig was a Star - ‘Happy Easter’ he said with...More

Enjoyed a beautiful day here. Lots of information about the signal station and Fastnet lighthouse. Walk was manageable and helped by the great fine day. Coffee was great on our return to centre. Well recommended

The park here boasts an amazing footbridge across a chasm which affords beautiful photo-ops. The Visitor Centre is small but very informative and you'll learn about Marconi's efforts to send a signal across the ocean from this point. The drive down to Mizen Head is...More

Mizen Head is amazing, and the visitor center is good, informative. Loved speaking with the staff that work there, they provided us with so much history and information. The center is clean, there is a small gift shop, toilets and a small cafeteria.
