After dinner, my wife and i took a stroll through the self guided Revolutionary Graveyard tour. It is very well kept and was very peaceful.

I enjoy visiting this place every time I am in town. The grounds are nicely maintained and a small pamphlet is available to describe the grounds. I do feel it is a shame however that so many of the grave stones have been destroyed and...More

Spend 5-10 minutes to reflect upon the old cemetery. Very old trees and grave markers outline this small plot in downtown Dandridge.

Free little 5 to 10 minute stop across from a very good diner in a small old town. There are a few grave sites and monument. There was something mystic about it however. It gives you something to think about.

You can't read most of the gravestones, most of which are falling down or eroded so badly they barely exist. I'm sure there is a great deal of history here, maybe even some ancestors.

The oldest part of the cemetery was cleared, old stones were found and upgraded the appearance. Tours can be set up through the Town of Dandridge.

This is a fantastic historical stop. Pick up the broached at the entrance and stroll the the small lot of grave sites that are 150 years old. People who stilled this area are buried there. For example, James McCulstion born In 1737 and died in...More
