Had a docent who was very helpful. The info provided is complete with many side stories. The location especially with the sister house in sight across the road is beautiful.

Stopped by on a tour. Friendly staff. The home is well maintained by the SCV. The home was raided and set on fire by the Yankees, but Rebel cavalry came to the rescue and doused the fire before damage was done.
