We stopped at the riverside park to let kids play while visiting granddaughter. The park was clean and parking was convenient. There were clean rest rooms. this was right on the river where there was a walking or biking path that went on for a while. We walked and the older kids rented bikes. There are also benches and swings... More

Went here to have lunch and found the park to be very clean and there is a nice little museum that tells a little of the history of the river and Clarksville( that was a nice surprise). I have driven by the park at Christmas and saw the lights, I will definitely go back to walk ( all paved walkway)... More

McGregor Park Riverwalk turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The information room gives a history of the area and its development. You'll also find pamphlets about Wilma Rudolph, Clarksville, Tennessee's hometown hero. I decided to take an easy walk along the pathway during an unusually warm day. Although the water level is low, it doesn't distract from the scenery... More

Laid out in a long narrow zone between Riverside Drive and the river, this is a very nice little place to walk, talk, and sit - it is decorated according to the season, so is attractive all the time - especially during the Christmas season!

We went there to see the lights on the river. It was nice. You park your car and walk in the park along the river. There is a information center that has the history of the town and the use of the river. Very interesting if you are a history buff. We saw some barges being moved on the river.... More

This area is very picturesque. The park is just sitting areas, picnic areas and a playground all along the river. There is also a small museum and a nearby Wendy's. Free admission and parking.

first time in Clarksville and took this stroll along the river with our newfound family in Clarksville and in nearby Kentucky and overseas. We all congregated around this area and enjoyed the Christmas lights with all the kids. I especially enjoyed the museum that was there and the overview of the ancient history that surprised me....wow!....15,000 BC even. Impressive.

Overview: A well-maintained park, perfect for families or couples. The Good: This park is equipped with a museum, playground, picnic tables, and benches. It connects to other walking trails, such as those of Clarksville Downtown. There are a number of restaurants mere meters from the trails, including Wendy's and Taco Bell. These make for a convenient snack while enjoying the... More
