Windcross Conservancy's Spanish Mustang Preserve is located in the southern Black Hills of South Dakota. SD HWy 79 1.5 Miles it is just a 15 minute drive for Hot Springs and 40 minutes from Rapid City. A family friendly attraction. The management strives to make sure that every visitor gets to experience the Spanish Mustang horses Windcross. *Please be aware that it is a walking tour amongst the horses. Accommodations can be made for those unable to do the walk. * This is a hands on history and educations experience with an endangered historical horse breed. Reservations are appreciated as morning tours fill quickly. Tours are daily with two sections in the morning and two in the afternoon.

Yes we do. Tours are available 9-5 everyday of the week. Last tour leaves at 4 p.m. Tours are between 45-minutes to an hour. Tennis shoes at least are suggested as some walking is involved.
