We love going kayaking there in the summer, but took the shorter trail this time: the natural bridge one and it was a beautiful trail.
We will go back to take the longer one.

went with a group to hike for the day. I must say this small park is delightful. We reserved a picnic shelter which is located across the Hwy. I think a total of 5 shelters along with a restroom facility. clean shelters with many table, grill and a fireplace. The main park is across the road. Loved the visitor center which is is a preserved/converted 19th century church. The center had exhibits about the area and history. The staff were super friendly. The trails were moderate to quite challenging. Beautiful trails. The natural bridge and waterfall were great. The Best was on the ravens rock trail. Splendid views of the water and forest below. Quite stunning. They do have campsites on the property too.

This is a very pretty park on Lake Keowee that you will really enjoy. This park is smaller and less crowded so it is more private. Great camping sites and everything is cleaned twice daily in the bathrooms. Fishing and kayaking can be loads of fun.

Great place to camp, clean bathrooms, awesome swimming area. Helpful rangers. Little bit of a walk to bathroom. Great lake for kayaking. Small park without crowds.

The RV sites are far enough apart to allow for some privacy. The bathroom is clean and showers are hot. Very clean and COVID-aware. They are cleaned twice a day. The campground is on a high perch looking down in all directions. The park store isn’t much so come prepared with food. Firewood is $6.50 a bundle-FYI.

We stayed at campsite TS3, one of the few primitive campsites that the park offers, for five days. This was the perfect campsite right at the point of a little peninsula! The views were so pretty there and we got lucky with a beautiful vibrant sunset almost every evening! It's a 2.5 mile hike to the campsite or a 5 minute paddle from the parks dock. If you're planning on bringing a decent amount of things, I definitely reccomend renting or bringing a canoe. The hike is up and down a mountain and pretty strenuous with a lot of weight. The only downside to our campsite was that there's not too much privacy; there are houses and a golf course on the other side of the lake and a few mornings we heard leaf blowers that went on for quite some time, a push to get out of the tent and get on the move I guess! Other than that, our stay was quite delightful! The hiking trails offered pretty views: you'll come across a beautiful area with pools of water and small waterfalls along the Nature Bridge Trail, and there's a rock you can sit on at the edge of the mountain that offers views of the lake and mountains on the Raven Rock Trail! The ranger was nice and very helpful, and the overall area and bathhouse was clean! Will definitely be back!

The tent campsites are very very close to the each other so be prepared not to have much privacy at all. The campground was clean but in the women’s restroom there were only 1/3 stalls that actually even locked so I had to wait for that stall every time.

Outstanding little campground. The RV spots are quite large and not right on top of each other. Excellent step ramp at the lake for launching kayaks or canoes, and a small beach alongside to swim. Bathhouse was like the rest of the campground: neat and orderly. There are hiking trails in the park and plenty of other attractions nearby.

I come here frequently with my family. We have been coming here for many years and have seen the improvements to the campgrounds over the year like the large trash container instead of driving trash off site to the local landfill. There is at least one RV site with sewage connection. We normally rent camp but this year stayed in an RV. Went fishing, hiking, visited nearby hiking attractions and other roadside parks. Lots of lake front activities to enjoy, friendly campers, and awesome park rangers. We will always be back.

We camped in a travel trailer. The RV campsites are very nice --- level & not close to one another. There are only 10. The bathhouse is down a hill & is quite nice. There are 2 showers each with a dressing area separate from the shower. The dressing area includes 5!!! hooks & has a small corner bench. The shower walls have what appear to be new tiles; the floor is terra-cota. There is plenty to do in the immediate area.
