While we meet must people at the duck locations. We have a property with a few small buildings on it, that provide a bathroom..a few things in case you forgot and chickens to feed to pass the time.

The service provided by the company is second to non. Friendly staff with great services on a beautiful lake. If you are looking to rent a boat this is the place to do it.

Stephanie (owner) didn't seem to be very business-like. She didn't answer my conformation emails, she attempted to charge me more for my 2 day pontoon rental than we agreed on, there was too much yelling at her staff and too much shop talk when we took the boat out, etc. I chose her rental company because she had the lowest price. That may have been because the pontoon that we rented had no working radio, no horn (as stated on their web site), I don't believe the gas gage worked, (it indicated the same amount of gas when we finished as it did when we first got the boat, and I was still charged $72.00 for gas), and I had to bring the empty on board fire extinguisher to their attention. We had a good time, but I think I'll pay a bit more next time with a different company.

From my initial contact with Stephanie to inquire about renting a pontoon boat, dealing with her was a true pleasure. She made sure my wife and I were met at the boat landing on time, we were shown how to operate the boat, given a map as to where to find waterfalls, and just generally made our day unforgettable. I can't imagine a better day or more friendly and professional service! Stephanie is terrific, and her coworkers are, too. We've been to Devil's Fork several times and finally got good weather for a boat ride, and it's the most fun we've ever had there. My wife and I can't wait to do this again. --Michael D. Coming in from out of state and not knowing much about Lake Jocassee, we were so lucky to have chosen the Lady of the Lake, Stephanie Couch, as our point person for a pontoon rental for 5 days. She was personable and enthusiastic and just plain nice. With her top notch employees (Bonnie, Al, Rick, Melanie) we made a timely pick up, refuel and drop off. This seemlessly coordinated effort allowed us to make sure all our guests had an awesome 5 days of “pontooning and waterfalling”. To Stephanie’s credit, we did have a ladder issue which was resolved amicably and to our satisfaction, completely. What a pleasure it was to use her company and her services. We will be back.

Our trip was absolutely incredible, to say the very least. We called to get a boat at the last minute, and not only did they more than make that happen at the drop of a dime, Stephanie then let us upgrade to a larger pontoon and rent us a tube after we arrived. I cannot say enough about how satisfied our group was with our experience. Stephanie showed us all the Jocassee sights on a map before we left, made sure we were very well informed of any possible issue that may occur on our trip, and even drove it over to pick the rest of our group up before our departure. EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT service. I will surely be using this company for any future Jocassee lake trips.

Lake Jocassee is beautiful, but if you are only seeing it from the small part accessible from shore, you are really missing out. If you don't own your own boat, you couldn't do better than Stephanie at Jocassee Keowee Rentals. We knew we wanted to rent a boat for at least one of our days at Devil’s Fork State Park and researched several of the other area companies. We chose Stephanie and JKR because she had the best value. In fact, because her prices were so reasonable, we were able to rent for two days for not much more than one day would have cost with the other providers.
Stephanie’s commitment to customer service was also great. Since we were renting for two consecutive days, she allowed us to leave our ice chests and fishing gear on the boat overnight, even providing us with a locking cable to secure our ice chest. We have 2 adult children and one 12 year old; when I picked up the boat, I described his size to her and she provided a life vest she felt would fit him. Later, we encountered her on the lake in her own boat and she swapped the vest out with another because she didn’t feel it fit him perfectly.
Her knowledge of the lake is also extensive, she provided us with a waterproof map and marked the best spots for photos and swimming. We were able to find them all and they were as beautiful as she described.
To see someone who runs her business with such energy and joy is indeed a pleasure to see. We will definitely come back to Lake Jocassee and we will certainly call on Stephanie and Jocassee Keowee Rentals when we do.

My group loved working Jocassee Keowee Rentals! Thanks to Stephanie, we had an awesome day at Lake Jocassee. A few things stood out about the company - and that was 1) the flexibility to cancel at the last minute if weather looked too ominous 2) a full on-boat briefing that included safety tips and maps & descriptions to all the best locations 3) Stephanie simply just having the best personality! She's direct and has a great/fun spirit and sense of humor. It was a bit difficult for me to be coordinating a group of 7 - which included a baby and a dog and unpredictable weather - so we had to place a LOT of back & forth calls. Stephanie was always patient, understanding and gave us options and suggestions that made our planning so much easier. Can't recommend this company enough. Even though it rained for part of the day and was mostly cloudy, we had a blast. We can't wait to go back on a sunny day and explore even further. When we do, there's only one place we'll call!

Terrific company. I cannot say enough great things about this entire experience. Everything that we were promised on the pontoon rental was there they even stocked the ice in the coolers for us our family will definitely continue to go to this location because of the service that we received from this company.

We want to thank Stephanie for arranging a large boat to take our whole family on a tour of Lake Jocassee to see the waterfalls. She accommodated all of us and was very considerate where she took us since the ages ranged from 21-82 years old. Everyone had a blast and highly recommend her for your boat rentals and tours. We will be back!

Steph is always the first person I check with when wanting to spend the day on the lake. They have great boats, staff and rates. Also she will let you stay out on the water until 7 While most of the other boat rental places require the boat to be back by 4 or 5, when I drive down to Keowee and Jocassee from North Carolina at least once a week I want to spend more than a few hours I highly recommend Jocassee Keowee rentals!
