The State Tobacco Museum's collection of four centuries of tobacco artifacts illustrate how tobacco affected the economies and societies of the rural south. A reconstructed tobacco barn and market allow visitors to immerse themselves in the stories, sights and smells of tobacco history. Guided tours of the museum and of Mullins are available.

A wonderful museum. Director of the museum was very knowledgeable and personable as he showed me throughout the items there If you are anywhere near Mullins ,SC take a detour and learn about the history of tobacco

This was a very interesting museum. History of tobacco farms and Mullins. Many specimens of tobacco, cigarettes, pipes, farm tools, and way of life for farmers. Lovely paintings, antique quilt and much more. The curator was very friendly and knowledgeable. A donation of one dollar...More

This place is a must see in Mullins! Tons of tobacco and tobacco farming items on display inside including a tobacco barn. The curator has a wealth of knowledge and used to own a tobacco farm and his dad owned a tobacco warehouse in Mullins....More

Guided tour was informative and interesting. Lots of old items related to tobacco growing. This is a large museum and fun to explore.

This is a small muse on the tobacco farming in the old days. The guide was very informative and is well worth the time for a guide tour. Only request a small donation.
