Easy access to the old bridge, nice marsh view, easy parking and a variety of birds year-round. After logging all your birds, stop for a milkshake at the pharmacy counter downtown. A treat for sure!

We enjoyed a nice walk after breakfast on the bridge. Great views of Charleston and Fort Sumter. Wish we had know to come out here at sunset. Bet it is a fabulous sunset spot!

Finally made it to this spot and it did not disappoint. If you’re looking for a really nice walk out into the marsh and inlet this is the place to go. Only issue is the limited parking.

I don't know anything about fishing, but when I walked the bridge, there were a ton of fishermen there. Also a lot of dolphins who I assume were feeding on the fish. I was there in October. Not sure if May is any different.
