Glad I walked it once but the exhaust from cars is pretty bad for an ok view. The slight incline makes this a fairly easy walk even for people that do not workout a lot. You can also walk half the bridge and turn around if not interested in walking the whole thing before turning around at the end.

Love going over this bridge, beautiful bridge and can be seen from several locations in Charleston and from where we stay in Mount Pleasant. Took a Harbor Tour that went under this enormous bridge and learned about the cost and construction of this bridge!

The bridge is an awesome site from afar and great exercise when walking/running it. The exertion is well worth it for the views of Charleston, Patriot's Pointe and the rest of the area.

It's a bridge. It's a nice looking bridge, but it's still a bridge. Why is a bridge the #3 travel site in a lovely city full of far more interesting architecture?

Walking or biking the Ravenel bridge is a wonderful way to get exercise while in Charleston. Plus, you get to see the amazing views of Charleston and the ships coming through the harbor. You can park on both sides of the bridge, but the Mt. Pleasant side has a wonderful pier with small shops and another view of the water.
