We did the house tour, slavery tour, and nature tour. Each one is a nominal $8 per person and well worth the price. The grounds are "romantic" English style gardens which means they are planted to look natural so if you prefer the pristine geometric formal gardens you may not appreciate these as I do. Each tour was packed with historic lessons. We spent about 4 hours enjoying the site and would have spent more time if it was a season when more flowers were blooming. I will come back during the spring one day to walk the gardens again. It was a relaxing and enjoyable way to learn some history and emerse yourself in the beauty of nature.…

I cannot begin to tell you what a wonderful spot the Magnolia Plantation was for a wedding. They worked with our planner and had everything ready to go on the special day. We planned the event in 40 days! It was magical.

We enjoyed a lovely Sunday trip to Magnolia Garden. The Camellias were peaking while we were there. We enjoyed the well kept garden grounds as well as venturing onto the nature trails a bit. We found a Groupon which saved a little in the admission- but it would have been worth the full price. We didn’t do the extra tours, but they have guides available if desired. We meandered.…
