I almost hesitate to tell people about it...I'd love to keep it a secret! It is a great beach if you are tired of the loud music and football games at other beaches. Clean, great waves, good snack shack, beautiful location! Worth the trip!

Hi Susan...I'm sorry for the delay in answering. I believe that the locals like tourists as they are their bread and butter. Tourists support their economy. I did not see anything overt that would lead me to believe that the locals don't like us tourists.:-) Every one seemed friendly enough. There is a fee as stated by others here. It was minimal, although I can't remember the actual amount. Tough to get old..:-) They also have a reduced amount if you are active military or retired.
