There's something so calming and beautiful about this park. I visit it frequently after picking up some Allie's donuts. If you need to relax and clear your mind. Take a chair and go sit on the cliffs. I haven't found a better place.
Since we visited off season the museum and other buildings were not open but it was still worth our trip. There are signs all around the grounds that tell you the story from when the lighthouse was built to its present situation.

We stopped by Beavertail lighthouse last week and unfortunately the museum was closed. But the surrounding area and the lighthouse itself is very picturesque and great for photos. We would definitely makes it a stop if you are in Jamestown.
