I highly recommend a tour of the Hans Herr House due to its rather unusual architecture. Besides being a fairly early (1719) colonial home, its claim to fame is that it preserves a German architectural style seldom found in the U.S. The tour was very...More

This location is tucked away between a residential community and a farm. The home and out buildings are made more meaningful by the tour guide. The initial educational session is necessary to understand the significance of this particular family's immigration. Visit the Longhouse, too!
