Overview
More
Opened in October 2014, La Tavola is the latest extension of Caputo Brothers Creamery. La Tavola translates to "the table" in Italian, and we feel that this perfectly captures the essence of this space - the experience of breaking bread at a communal table, just like the many we have dined around in Italy. It is our hope that when you step through the door, you will leave Spring Grove, PA and be transported to a trattoria or mercato in a small Italian village. When we visit Italy, we find inspiration at every turn, so we hope to deliver all of these experiences to you via La Tavola!

Stoli64 - We're sorry you felt that last Saturday's Guest Chef dinner was such a negative experience. We understand that the unique flavors and ingredients might not be for everyone, but we really enjoy bringing new chefs and creative cuisine to Spring Grove to experience...More

We really enjoyed the tour and cheese tasting. It's incredible to have this type of quality cheese-maker in a quiet, small town...the only cheese-curd makers in the country! Mark provided an informative demo and talk about the company and making cheese. They show you the...More

We had a five course meal, a lesson in making mozzarella, and a factory tour all led by the owner who is a great conversationalist and a totally engaging person. These are very honest, hard working people who have created a product so special that...More

We had an enjoyable afternoon of cheese tasting and education. This will appeal to young and old alike and you may never eat Velveeta again!
