I love the history of this place established in 1911 to help preserve the American bison from the brink of extinction. Beautiful trails for all hikers, easy to challenging. Bike and horse trails also. Port-a-potty by the Ford. Kiosks throughout the preserve with maps. Pack...More

The Preserve is both on the way, and exiting the Lehigh Valley Zoo. We have been going there since I was a child to see the bison and elk. Most exciting was always driving through the creek at the ford.

Took a 3 mile walk here this past weekend and son ran over 4 miles. Great place to enjoy the view and get some exercise. Love it and plan to go back!!

This is a great area to visit. Drive across the creek, look the views, and check out the elk and bison. Combined with a stop at the Lehigh Valley Zoo and a picnic and wade at the creek, it makes a great day trip.

Stopped to watch the herd of bison and to take in the beautiful scenery. A wonderful place for nature lovers and for those who love to read Psalm 91. For the more adventurous,

Lived in PA a a long time and never knew this place existed. Nice trails and very peaceful! A little out of the way, which is expected, but still only a ten minute drive to plenty of restaurant options...

Absolutely! The area is paved. Also, a new ADA entrance will be ready later this year, but the current entrance will work just fine.
