My plan is to one day wear a tux to see a play in this beautiful theater. I want to pretend to be old Hollywood because this place is spectacular. We love going here. Add this to your bucket list!!

The Benedum is one of the most beautiful venues in Pittsburgh and an excellent site for concerts as well as shows. We had a great time.

I attended a performance of the Elixir of Love at this wonderful theatre. It is an old 20's era movie palace. It is very ornate and lovingly restored. We had great seats. I would see another opera hear the next time I am in Pittsburgh.

We went to the 9 May Shen Yun 2018 show. A very interesting cultural experience. The opening was dramatic with the dancers emerging out of the fog. Each segment stood on its own and gave a slice of a millennia-old culture. There were serious and...More

Great place to see any show and Waitress was a great mix of comedy and music! Benedum has lots of parking close by, plus many food offerings all within walking distance.

The show was amazing!! Our seats were fantastic. The Benedum is beautiful. My only complaints is there are not enough bathrooms and they don’t give you enough time at intermission.

Not only does beautiful, historic place provide hours of entertainment with musicals (my personal favorite) and show but, it's just an amazing place to visit and just look around. They added a more modern bar and bathroom but it all seems to flow nicely. I...More

This beautiful theatre in Pittsburgh’s cultural district is worth the trip even if there isn’t wonderful entertainment going on. It’s the performance home of the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, among others, and as a former volunteer for the ballet I used to conduct tours of the...More

I am sure others will think I am crazy but I wasn't real impressed with the Benedum. They need to adjust the temperature of the building with changing outside temps and the number of people in the building. It was not a cold night and...More

We walked to the Benedum from The Monaco. It is a lovely theater, and a very nice show for the whole family.

There is no dress code. People tend to dress nicer in the evening. Matinees are more casual. I suspect any kids performance would also be more casual. Thank you for exposing your kids to the arts.
