Visited the Zoo for the first time with our 2-year old grandson. We had a fun time showing him the jungle animals and polar bears. We had limited time because of his age and didn't visit the aquarium, but heard nice reviews from other people...More

In summary the visit to the zoo was adventurous. We were handed the map outside and the journey began. None of us were good with maps but were determined to see all the animals which we did. The interesting thing is that the place is...More

The Pittsburgh Zoo is my family's favorite zoo because it is in one giant loop. Unlike other zoos, which are built in a line, this zoo loops in a circle so once you've seen everything, you're back to where you started. The zoo is very...More

I have always had a love for seeing animals and watching how they interact with each other. Seeing that they have unique personalities is fun to see.

Great walking area, planned out well, great food options, animals out and about, well maintained except for escalator and one elevator broken. Wear your walking shoes

A lot of attractions to see. The aquarium is my favorite thing to see. The zoo has a few hills to walk up, so it’s good exercise.

I am not sure about the trams. There is an elevator to take you from the parking lot to the zoo entrance that can accommodate a wheel chair.

My daughter got our tickets on my phone right outside before we went in. I don't remember the price difference, but they were cheaper to buy with the phone.

Yes, there is a zip line (it is up by the hippo), but it isn't very long. Also, it's an extra cost.
