We ventured to the South Side for the first time to get away from the crowds downtown and find Primanti's! We loved the rustic feel of the south side!

Great place to walk, eat, drink, and enjoy the local folks. It is a friendly upbeat location, however the parking is very limited.

Lots of unique shops and quirky restaurants abound here. One of the areas of Pittsburgh I really enjoyed. Plenty of cool shops, good coffee, but did not try out the night scene.

A cute area to walk around, shop a bit and grab a meal. Seemed like a mini (very mini) version of Navy Pier in DC.

The community has done a great job in revitalizing this section of the area. The night life is fun, the food is awesome, and parking is reasonable.

Took a bit to decide where to stay and ended up on the south side to be close to both tours and inclines. As others had mentioned, mostly restaurants and lack of stores as in the past.
