The beginning of this tour was a very long and odd history of the tour company itself - who cares? Skip that noise, we were all bored out of our mind. Just take us on a merry walk with silly ghost stories, thank you!
Some of the stories were good but the whole thing was a bit slow and boring. However, it was inexpensive so that's fine. We left about halfway through when we were up the hill close to our parking spot, lol.
They need to limit the # of people on tours and accept reservations. Right now, it's kind of whoever shows up gets to go.

We participated on a cold evening before Halloween. For $10 it was fun and informative. She mixed in some local history with some ghost tales. We walked along the canal tow path and down an alley which was new for me having visited New Hope several times over the years. Not the best but not the worst, and for $10 it was an entertaining hour walk. It did leave wanting to do a New Hope historical tour since there seems to be a ton of history associated with this pre revolutionary war town. I would recommend ( if it were $25 pp then I would not). We had dinner first, then toured at 7:45, then had a few local cocktails. A nice evening in New Hope, Pa.

its fun if you wanna go to eat and shop. it is crowded and expensive though. be careful parking because some lots are only after a certain time and through a specific app. we got a parking ticket. i highly recommend riding the train, that was the best part of the trip for us. we would like to go back for the walking ghost tour that we didnt know about until after we left.

While the guide was knowledgeable, I felt like the tour was a little more history than “ghost”. The trip also did one straight stretch of road. Would have been nice to enjoy some nooks and crannies of the city. Still enjoyed the over one hour of narrative from our guide and the company were were with. If you are into die hard ghost stories this probably isn’t for you.

If I could give this a ZERO, I would. This was horrible. So boring. I was expecting some cool stories and some history. Our guide dragged on and on with her stories that were not spooky, interesting or historical. That's $10 and an hour of my life wasted. Save your money and time and go to Havana and get a drink instead. I can't believe these reviews on this site are actually real.

As all reviews go - this is my take on this tour. I found the stories to be shallow recounts of reports of ghosts (the majority at various local bed and breakfasts) in New Hope. I would have liked to hear more history on the ghosts themselves - a little research into who this ghost might be and why they are there. I'm not a ghost believer but I can easily get carried into the story and enjoy most . It was just a bit too commercial to believe and the speaker's timelines were hard to follow. I guess when it comes down to it I didn't find the stories that interesting.

We had a group of 23. The voice of the speaker did project well for such a large group.

At the end of the tour a member of the group started asking the tour guide what her dog's name was. The guide said "what dog?" and the young girl (maybe 12) said "the one that has been following you". The tour guide said - "OH - that's our ghost dog!" Believable??? That's about how the night went....

p.s. I also felt sorry for people who walked up and started listening to the tour. The tour leader would promptly ask them in front of the group if they had bought a ticket. In most cases the person would apologize and move off quickly because they didn't realize it was a private tour. I felt she embarrassed the people with her tone.

A group of girls from my daughter's 6th grade class got together tonight to participate in a ghost walking tour. We read the website, and were pleased to see that it was on a more intellectual level...not the cheap tours where people jump out and grab you while dressed in costume. This was not that at all. It was a great tour in a spectacular town that is so loaded with history. The tour guide that we had (a man) was very good. There are two tours...one goes down Ferry Street to start off and the other goes down Mechanic Street to start off. We will be going back for the other tour for certain. The tickets are reasonable at $10.00 per person. The tour lasted a full hour and we went to approximately 5-6 stops. Very interesting stories, interesting places. There were about 20 people in our public tour. Private tours are $12.00 and I think I would do the private tour next time. You are permitted to use a camera, video-recorder, etc... and people are encouraged to bring a flashlight which I highly suggest, and a good pair of walking shoes for uneven sidewalks. Terrific experience and I highly recommend it. p.s.: Parking is available in many different areas. I chose a private lot and the total was about $10 for parking. If you are not familiar with New Hope, PA then you should know there are many great places to eat for all budgets. There is even a Starbucks and a Dunkin' Donuts.

I expected creepy stories told in a haunting fashion. What it was was factual, historical stories. Had fun but once is enough. $10, cash only.

I would say it's fun, at $10 (cash only) don't expect a whole lot. You walk around to about 6 places hearing ghost stories along the way. Tours start at 8pm and last about an hour. You meet at the intersection of main and ferry (across from Logan) The tour guide was great, very informative. Check out the Logan inn after they don't mind you checking the painting in the lobby. Be advised if parallel parking make sure to park properly in the lines or you'll get a $15 violation (the are extremely picky)
