Beautiful spot. Be careful as the trailhead gets compacted with ice in the winter months, and can become a bit treacherous to get to the bottom. As with most popular hiking spots, try to get there as early as possible to beat the crowds.

We just saw Hawk Falls yesterday, 12/19/20. Two days after the big snow storm. All of the snow made it a little tougher trek, but totally worth it. Waterfall surrounded by snow.. amazing.

This is a short easy hike thorough a rhododendron forest to a gorgeous waterfall. It is a definite winner at least off season.

Quick and easy. Parts were rocky and there were some hills but we had only a few hours and this was the perfect hike. I'd recommend good shoes because the rocks can be slippery and there are parts of the hike where the hill is steeper than it looks. We saw dogs and lots of children - So bring them with! Also parking was easy and the trail was clearly labeled.…
