If you have any experience at all this is not for you. If you like a scenic 5mph crawl through the woods then go for it. Also don't drive like the tour guide or you'll get yelled at.

Fun 1 hour drive - no helmet or goggle rentals needed either. Bring dirty shoes or ones you don't mind getting muddy! Easy to ride.

This was a great activity for my 13 year old. He is an experienced ATV driver and has his own for 4 years now. A few down points to make 1 is that it is not an hour long ride on the trails. 35 minutes out and back. A little disappointed in that area. 2 you have to make sure that the ATV's work. My son got one that did not have any hand breaks and the foot breaks barely stopped him. He was a bit frustrated. Also remember to ask if the other drivers in your group are experienced. The girl in front of my son was not and kept stopping and my son in the ATV he was in could not avoid her and ended up getting covered in mud from head to toe. All in all he had a lot of fun.

So my boyfriend and I had never been ATVing but saw that it was located right on the resort in Split Rock so we decided to give it a shot. Boy, have we been missing out! The guides were very friendly and did their best to be sure everyone was as comfortable as possible before we headed out on the trail. It lasted about an hour and it flew by, I wasn't ready to be done at all. I would recommend trying to book for a larger time slot if you can, we would have if we ever would have thought we'd love it so much. Plus it had just rained, Mud Puddles!!!
