Very peaceful place to walk. You can walk all the way to Yass Gorge look from the park, takes maybe 15 mins. Easy walk. Ducks and birds to be seen in the river in the park. BBQ Facilities.

Riverbank Park is a most beautiful place to walk. I try to enjoy a walk every morning, the earlier the better. No matter what time of year it is stunning. I especially enjoy very early morning when the mist is still down to the ground and rising off the river.

Found the most peaceful park bench in Yass NSW while out on a lovely walk around Riverbank Park. This is a lovely circuit that goes right around the river running through town and also out along the gorge towards the dam.
It has a lovely park also for kids 😍

Any kids older than 5 will be bored in2 seconds, walk up and around the river is beautiful. Nice greenery but better park up the other end of town.

Great place to stroll along the river and enjoy the scenery and wildlife. Very peaceful when I was there.
Lots of really good (and different) play equipment including a giant slide. Well worth a visit if you are travelling through Yass.

Situated next to the river, the Riverbank Park is quite an open green space. There are walking paths and places to sit a lovely place to take the family.

Great to see some water in the river and a well maintained path on both sides of the river. Excellent dog park nearby too

In late October 2019, the Riverbank Parkrun was launched. This weekly free community running 🏃♀️🏃♂️event is located in this delightful parkland along the Yass River. The park is well cared for, and the amenities are good. If you are looking for a fun and scenic parkrun, then this could suit you. If you’re not into parkrun, this is a nice park to visit and or break your journey instead on being at a highway rest stop.

Stroll along the concrete pathways and soak up the serene atmosphere of the river. Plenty of wild life and the area is quiet and tranquil.
Make sure you see the weir and the old railway bridge at the lower end of the park.
the whole area is clean and well maintained.
