Most small towns have a museum or historical village setting out its history. Some are well done, some are just there because you have to have one, but all are interesting in their own way. This museum is obviously run by local volunteers so therefore...More

Really well thought out local museum - great collection of photos in the hall. The farm machinery could probably be repaired and put into service!!!

We all went for a drive to Wollombi to have a look. The museum is only opened some day and we missed out. From the outside the museum looks pretty good and will try to visit again in the future.

When in Wollombi take an extra 30 or so minutes and visit the Wollombi Museum. Only $2 so you can't go wrong. Staff are knowledgable and the museum itself is quite good for a small town. Well worth a visit

We were "forced" to visit this museum, as our car had a breakdown! However, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit, and the exhibits were fascinating. Many thanks to the volunteer staff for looking after us. Make a point of dropping by if you're in town.

Quite a find in this little village. The museum was interesting and had a number of items that we had never seen before. Well worth a visit. There was also the opportunity to make a donation.
