The skillion is an ideal spot for whale watching. There are stairs all the way to the to. No need to walk on the grass.

This lookout has a wonderful view over the ocean and it is a great location to watch the whales pass when they are travelling either north or south.

Gets the blood pumping, and I’d not be a fan of the climb in summer, but it’s a glorious climb and well worth the view in winter. We even saw some whales! Lots of parking and hand rails and seats along the way if you...More

The walk up to the lookout is steep, but well worth the effort. The view up and down the coast and back over the town are beautiful.

A wonderful spot to see the coastline. When in Terrigal, I try to walk the skillion for the view. It also gets your heart pumping!

There are stairs leading to the top. The walk only takes 6-7 minutex. We went on a windy wet morning and were nearly blown off our feet but the views were amazing

The Skillion is not particularly high. It only takes about 10 minutes to walk from the car park, if you are of moderate fitness. The views are lovely. It is well worth it.
