The information centre is really lovely however the surrounding park, in particular the amenities are very poorly maintained. I'd recomend using the amenities in the information centre. The park itself is ok for a rest stop but isn't really a destination worthy of a detour.

Stopped here for a picnic while travelling with family. Lovely park with a good playground for kids beside the information centre which has modern clean amenities. Recommend highy

Visited Townhead Park with my grandchildren.The bike track is exceptionally well laid out for teaching little ones on their push bikes/scooters etc about road sense.
