The picture on your website is not really Carrington Falls; it is a picture of the small waterfall at Nellies Glen, near Carrington Falls. Both are well worth a visit, as are other signposted attractions near Carrington Falls. The Kangaroo River, which feeds Carrington Falls,...More

The best part about this place is the walk down to the water hole. I love that it's on the cascades then you can swim at the end and it wasn't too busy when we were there. There is a permanant fire ban here though...More

Unfortunately we missed the rather insignificant and small sign indicating the falls are currently closed, and drove all the way in to be met with a big locked gate. Perhaps larger signage further out before the turn off, would save people a pointless trip.

We have been many times before. The first time on this trip saw little water due to the drought. After a day of heavy rains, we went back and it was delightful. Okay, some caution is needed if you have small children but that shouldn’t...More

Something happened to this attraction nearly two years ago, and at the Fitzroy Falls Visitor Centre we were told the contractor hired to fix the problems pulled out so the Falls are closed for an indefinite time. We found the road from Robertson to the...More

The invisible falls. We heard that the Carrington Falls Lookout is still closed, and it is a shame. It is closed from the February of 2016, and it is terribly disappointing. The only balm to our wounds was that the Nellies Glen is open. This...More

Two water falls so close together. Nellies Falls and Carrington Falls are within 400 mrs of each other. In fact the top of Carrington Falls is just around the corner form Nellies. Best seem flowing after a rain has fallen to ensure that Nellies has...More

We managed to get to the very top and back in an hour and a half with breaks for photographs, water and food whenever we wanted. Some great opportunity for waterfall shots and birdwatching on the way. Some of the steps have worn away but...More
