We had been to this cafe three years ago and hoped it was still there this time after a long walk. It was, and better than before. Great choices for me, a coeliac, and helpful and friendly staff. Lovely setting on a spectacular morning.

Nostalgic trip with George and Howard, great coffee on a miserable wet morning. George talked about his boats and then spotted a painting that tool his fancy. This painting by Ken had his old boat in the scene.Great spot for big brekky or afternoon tea.

What a great place for a relaxing evening with friends. Good wines, lovely tapas and a fantastic location looking across the lake, disturbed only by a pair of black swans as the sun slowly set. Wonderful, friendly staff enhance this simple but very popular cafe.

This is an "out of the way" location, and worth the map-check for visitors to find it. The boat hire is operated from the site and provides another interest watching patrons fishing, even if you don't.

Not 100% sure as I'm not a local, but I would think it is a low speed waterway as there are oyster beds in the inlet. Only saw relatively slow moving cabin craft navigating while we were there.
