Booked for a morning tour and told to be out front of accommodation at 8:20. Very cold morning - stood on street for 20 minutes before contacting office and informed an error had been made and they could not pick us up for the tour. Offered alternative time but didn’t suit our limited time here. 😞

A great tour for people who are time strapped or a bit older. Fits in most of the car door features, with a great commentary! A guide who could answer all questions and tidbits of information that would not be available otherwise. Did the 4 hour tour. Well worth it!!!

Did the 3 hour tour with pick up about 8.15am from the tourist park reception. Our driver was informative and entertaining, giving us a lot of local information on our trip. Visits to the old mining areas, bottle house and Amigo,s castle and then a demonstration of polishing and informative talk on the opal types and of course the scones with jam and cream were included in this 3 hour tour. Definitely would recommend this tour to everyone.

Was ok but we mainly sat in the bus going around town being told about the history of the town. Back to base after 3 hours for scones and coffee very yummy. If you do the extended hour to visit the walk in mine that is worth it although it’s only a small tour then video
