Drop in for a good overview and to learn a bit before exploring further. Was a bit confused whether it's a shop or a museum.. Will be good when they get a purpose built museum to house it all in.

The Australian Opal Centre has many good things going. But my favourite has to be the Denture with the teeth made from opals! It's real, and it's emarkable!

Great place to see. the staff were great and made it very interested for my kids and the entire family. It housed a great collection of opals and fossils and explains quite a bit about each of them

Our display features exquisite opalised fossils and other fascinating opal-related treasures. We're glad you found somewhere great to shop for...More

There were many opals on display and the staff were helpful but not pushy, we had a lot of discussion without a purchase
