the mural walk around the town of kurri kurri was very interesting, each mural had a story to it, at each mural there is a kookaburra painted somewhere and the challenge is to find it, the kookaburra is the towns logo,

Take the time to book this one through local information centre to enjoy and appreciate this wonderful old town full of history of the coal fields.

We were in the Hunter Valley and had read about the Kurri Kurri Murals. We didn't realise until afterwards that there is a tour you can go on. We found a map on the net showing the location of all 51 murals so off we...More

The volunteer staff at the Visitor Centre are very helpful. The cafe and shop are a pleasure to visit. The mural tour is a wonderful way for the town to showcase the inspiring and artistic side of the Hunter Valley coalfields.
