Looks beautiful but no dogs allowed. So very disappointed as we wanted to stay in Griffith and explore your town

This is a beautiful spot to just relax and take in the view or maybe have a picnic with family or friends, very big lake but sure you will find a good spot, there is also an area where they have a few animals like goats and others

We had been in town at a caravan park to catch up with power, washing etc and the lady at the information centre told us we could stay out at Lake Wyangan for 3 nights. The toilets are spotless with water, soap and paper towel and the views over the lake are lovely. We dropped our van off at the lake in the morning and went out bush walking to Cocopurra National Park. We also were able to drive around town and go to the supermarket without the hassle of towing the van. Lovely quiet spot with only a few other travellers.

A beautiful park, camping and picnic area with a peaceful view of bird life. There are deer, chicken and goat enclosures and lots of amenities including toilets, barbecue and picnic shelters. It would be a great place to bring large or small groups of family or friends. Some shelters appear to be able to be pre booked to make it easier to organize large groups. A well maintained public park, the only criticism is they could use better signage as we spent an hour trying to find it and our satnav even took us to the wrong place.
