When we visited Osterley Park with friends, unfortunately my husband was unable to access the building as there is no lift, although when we looked in the description it said disabled friendly. When we telephoned to complain afterwards they said they did not have enough...More

There were not too many visitors during our trip to this awesome stately home built during the 1760s to a mega rich family owning a mega banking business. We were overwhelmed with this magnificent building , rooms filled with valuable antique paintings , furnitures and...More

The NT at its best. Enthusiastic, knowledgeable and good humoured guides, beautifully presented furniture, fixtures, and finishes and open spaces and lakes that give one a sense of space and peace in an otherwise hectic city environment.

The house is very interesting with ornate rooms. I didn't realise how meticulous as well as beautiful Robert Adams work is. The grounds are beautiful to relax in. As if one was in the countryside! Take a picnic or visit the Stables Café!

The house was a little ostentatious for my tatse but the grounds were wonderful - some lovely formal parts but also wilder walks through woodland.

Osterley Park is always a lovely day out. Today the sun was out and the park was pretty empty which gave us lots of space to run around playing football.

A really nice walk around the grounds, lovely main house, public toilets, and some where to eat. The car park is not free, but you can park outside of the grounds.

The website says £7 for parking but it might be best to phone them +442082325050 to be sure. Also, they might then clarify the website.

Not that far as planes can be seen flying overhead at a low height. Heathrow is nearby as the crow or plane flies. So by car it takes longer, but it is worth the journey, and wont take long.
