Been going to Gigg Lane for quite a number of years now being a season ticket holder. There have been a lot of upgrades over the years, with ups and downs on the pitch. That aside Gigg Lane is a nice ground to go to....More

This is a tidy smallish Ground. Friendly atmosphere and only a short walk from the town centre. We found that off street parking near to the ground was straightforward. The away stand has good sightlines without inconvenient pillars. The space between rows is fine and...More

A fairly decent ground by League One standards – four good stands all under cover & a friendly, humorous crowd. Not so great were the facilities – quite poor toilets & limited catering options with long queues at half time. Service was very pleasant as...More

Been coming here for 55 years. Would never consider changing my support to another team. The stadium is good for this level, though now starting to become tired compared to some of the modern stadia.

We travel up here two or three times a season to watch the Mighty Shakers. Since I first came there have been many changes. The stands have been refurbished, and it is now all seated, the parking is more difficult as restrictions spread from the...More

It is a typical, old, tired English-League football stadium. There is no catering to speak of inside the stands and no bar either (unless you go in the hospitality "suite," which we did, which is average. Cold chips and pork pies at half time! However,...More
