This museum is very hard to find if you do not know the area. The council should put up more signs!.When you do find it it is well worth it. The volunteers are so friendly and knowledgeable.Well worth a visit.

Spent well over two hours here this morning, and could have stayed longer, parking permitting. Extremely interesting and what really made it was the knowledge and enthusiasm of the volunteers. Well worth visiting.

Although there are interactive bits to it but an eight year old may not find it so fascinating unless s/he loves crafts and machines.
