I admit I am a classical music snob. I worked for the Cleveland Orchestra in its Glory Days. I love the Berlin Philharmonic and the Israel Philharmonic. So, Harrisburg? I was not prepared for what I heard. Awesome concert. And performing in the Forum, such...More

We have attended several HSO concerts and have never been disappointed. Depending on the type of show, Stuart Malina's personality and taking part (other than as Director) really added to our enjoyment. Would like to go more often, but the cost of buying multiple tickets...More

We buy the season pass because we don't want to miss a show! Broadway music with talented singers; not to mention the 1st rate orchestra with musicians from several nearby states.

We have been season subscribers for both classic and pop series for years. To proof loyalty of audience we are year after year surrounded by the same people from different part of Pennsylvania. They became our friends.

HBG Pops presentation of Classical Soul" was excellent. Would have appreciated less emphasis on Stevie Wonder and more on more classic Motown Soul. Orchestral rendition of "Grapevine" weas, however, excellent plus. Great experience.

Fantastic and friendly conductor, hard working and talented musicians, creative group. Their "pops" series is first rate, and they often have special, high-quality guests. The seating is cramped and slightly uncomfortable for a 1.5 hour performance, however, with leg room particularly limited. The acoustics seem...More

I was pleasantly surprised at the exceptional program that the Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra performed for the Harrisburg community at the baseball park over the July 4th weekend. The concert was FANTASTIC! I will definitely be checking out their schedule for the upcoming season!
